But those wounds often remain unhealed because we don’t think they’re important enough, bad enough, or affect us in the here and now.

Even thinking about the fact that you might have unhealed trauma can be uncomfortable enough that we avoid addressing it. It was bad then, and it’s bad now… so we do our best not to think about it.

Reliving it is exhausting, yet you’re suffering and want it to stop. So… what do you do?

Trauma is complex, but it CAN be treated!

Whether it’s interpersonal, racial, or intergenerational trauma, many of the memories and emotions are hidden from your conscious awareness.

Fortunately, therapy has many techniques for addressing trauma – no matter how long ago or how hidden it may seem.

We’ll take an eclectic approach, using relaxation, mandalas, poetry, books, art, meditation, and other proven therapies to reveal your truth. I’ll also give you direct relief by reprocessing the trauma and releasing it from your nervous system directly using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I know it’s not easy to talk about these things, but I’ll be your compassionate guide, supporting you every step of the way.
